Course Overview:
This course provides an introduction to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act 1993 for South Africa. Participants will learn about the key provisions of the act, their rights and responsibilities under the act, and how to comply with the act. They will also learn about the importance of creating a safe and healthy work environment and the benefits of doing so

Assessment:

Participants will be assessed through a written test at the end of the course. Participants must achieve a minimum of 70% to receive a certificate of completion

Certification:
​
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate is valid for 3 years.

Prerequisites:
​
There are no formal prerequisites for this course. However, participants should have a basic understanding of English and be over the age of 18 years old.
